Credit Crunch

So what is it that we are to expect from the consumer tightening their belts.......?? We are experiencing two ends of the spectrum at Head Office, we have some clients that are reducing their overheads where and whenever possible keeping all costs down, they have filtered this into the cleaning budgets keeping hours of work to an absolute minimum. The other end of the spectrum is the client who is almost to an extent increasing their cleaning budget. We believe here that the public is still willing to spend, yes they may have slightly less money in their pocket than December 2007 however the main point is that where before they could shop around now they will settle for one venue. Conversely, units trade can increase as the public will look for a better experience in that sepcific venue thus not moving destination. This makes sense.
